SummerSlam 2018 is also the biggest event of Summer will be taking place in Brooklyn, New York, which means WWE SummerSlam 2018 will be bigger than ever before.Well, if the move out of Los Angeles wasn’t enough to make this event feel huge and important, then the news that we got confirmed on Monday definitely is.
There were some Rumors from some past weeks that the WWE Summerslam 2018 will be adding an extra hours to the event and at the Monday Night Raw on 18 Jun, 2018 it was confirmed.
WWE Announced today that SummerSlam will expand from a 3.5 hour show to a 4 hour telecast live on WWE Network and now begin at 7pm ET on Sunday, August 19. SummerSlam joins WWE’s annual pop-culture extravaganza, WrestleMania®, as the only two events with four hours of live non-stop action.
SummerSlam will feature WWE Superstars Undertaker® and Brock Lesnar® in a rematch of their historic WrestleMania 30 bout where Lesnar ended Undertaker’s undefeated streak. In addition, WWE Network will also air a one-hour live SummerSlam Kick-Off Show starting at 6pm ET.
What WWE will be doing with that another extra hours, We’ll have to find out on 19th August, 2018 at the event of SummerSlam 2018. There are some solid draws on the SummerSlam card, especially with The Undertaker making an appearance, but putting together a four-hour show is an entirely different animal altogether.
